I have many and varied interests and this blog is where I write about them. Expect the subjects covered to include:

Business change, process and management - I have been involved in this professionally for coming up to 10 years. Basically I help people frame, understand and solve problems.

Self Protection - I teach regular seminars and classes in self protection, focussing on the strategies and behaviours that promote a safe lifestyle. This is the basis of the term safeism, and idea of being a safe, secure person without the paranoia present in much self defence training. One of the key elements of this is self-reliance and the willingness to take responsibility for ones own actions.

HEMA - Historical European Martial Arts. The indigious historical fighting arts of Europe. The research, revival and promotion of these arts. Closely linked are the 19th Century antagonisitc systems developed around the turn of the previous century.

In addition I am a humanist/atheist and libertarian with a deep suspicion of state and religion.
